company developing a System-On-Chip solution for 3G
and 4G wireless handheld personal communication devices
(PCDs). We are in the process of transferring our
research and development work into commercial products.
We
are a fabless semi-conductor company developing
an SoC for 3G and 4G wireless handheld Personal
Communication Devices (PCDs). Currently we are
working on implementing our FPGA prototype in
ASIC silicon. We are looking for an experienced
ASIC System Architect to oversee the overall
implementation of our current ASIC, and to lead
the architectural design of future ASIC devices.
The successful applicant will work with the
SIGPRO Systems, ASIC, and Test & Verification
teams, as well as our third party "back-end"
service provider and foundry of choice to deliver
our Flexium™ ASIC. He/she will also work
with customers, the business development team,
the customer engineering team, and third party
suppliers, to conceive, design, and develop
future ASIC devices at SIGPRO.

Overseeing the delivery
of SIGPRO's Flexium™ ASIC through the final
design and fabrication process
Defining the overall architecture
of SIGPRO's system-on-a-chip products
Developing block diagrams
and schematics to meet the architectural requirements
of the platform
Partitioning SIGPRO's SoC into Micro controller,
DSP, ASIC and FPGA modules based on functionality,
performance, and timing requirements
Assisting in preparing
functional specifications, application notes and
white papers
Identifying technical risk
areas in our next generation systems, and assisting
in the mitigation of these risks by performing
technical analysis, simulations, prototyping,
and developing proof of concept projects
Developing proficiency
with next-generation wireless devices, DSPs, and
general purpose processor architectures, wireless
device operating systems, algorithm development,
ASIC programming, and ASIC development tools,
in order to ensure SIGPRO's on-going success
