Hemant R. Patel is Founder, Chairman, President & CEO of Simple Networks, Edison, New Jersey, U.S.A. Mr. Patel founded Simple Networks in 1995. Simple Networks is now a world leader in voice and data networks having achieved one hundred million in revenue. In 2002, Simple Networks merged with Rose Telecom to become a world leader in pre-paid telecom solutions and in early 2003 Simple Networks entered into a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Reliance, India’s largest industrial group. The agreement between Reliance and Simple Networks is for Simple Networks to provide five hundred thousand handsets and prepaid cards to Reliance.

Prior to founding Simple Networks, Mr. Patel built and operated small refining plants in Texas, started numerous retail franchises in New Jersey, helped acquired sixty six million in funding for a soft drink bottling operation in Texas and was involved in the acquisition of Key Power Inc. a data processing and software development firm. Mr. Patel also set up a remote data center in India providing services to customers in the United States and was instrumental in setting up telecom networks in India and China.

Mr. Patel has succeeded in the retail, data processing, software, oil and the telecom industries. What truly is impressive about Hemant’s successes is that they have not only been achieved in different industries but in different countries. Entrepreneurial and extremely well educated, Mr. Patel has graduated from the Sardar Patel University, the Bombay University, the University of Michigan, and Texas A&M University.
